    Club/Organization(s) you are a part of: Relay for Life, Education Club, & EC Buddies

    Why do you choose to do community service?: I choose to take part in community service because I have always enjoyed being able to help others. Additionally, I enjoy being able to give back to the community and taking part in acts of kindness.
    Do you feel there are any benefits specifically for you when/while you serve?: When I serve, I am able to learn about various service organizations and their missions. Also, through community service, I have been able to meet new people from 91重口 and form new friendships.
    What are your favorite service projects to do?: One of my favorite service projects that I have taken part in is when I went with some members of Relay for Life to Hope Lodge to prepare and serve dinner to individuals who are battling cancer and their caregivers. Hope Lodge is run by the American Cancer Society and they provide housing for those who are receiving cancer treatments. The service opportunity allowed me to get to know some of the residents and their stories.
    Why should others serve?: One act of kindness can go a long way.

    Why do you choose to do community service? I choose to do community service because I feel as though I have a responsibility to help others in any way I can.
    Do you feel there are any benefits specifically for you when/while you serve? When I serve, I get the satisfaction that I am making a change and an impact on my community despite anything else going on. I also feel great thinking that I could have just made someone else’s day a lot better!
    What are your favorite service projects to do? I love working in soup kitchens and working on farms!
    Why should others serve? I think others should serve because while we may not realize it, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to help others. Volunteering can make significant impacts on other people’s lives without us even realizing it.
