Yes. Starting in Fall 2025, staff will be required to register on the system regardless of how many permits they’ve had in the past. Once registered, your permit will never expire.

How can I get a permit if I wasn鈥檛 selected in the lottery?
You are welcome to apply for a waiver which will be reviewed by the college.

Can I park right outside my residence hall to drop things off?
Technically no, but we try to allow you a fair amount of time when possible. These areas must be kept clear at all times in case of emergency.

Can I just make an extra spot or two on the end of a row if I can鈥檛 find parking?
No, the parking lots are sized accordingly to allow access for emergency vehicles when necessary.

What happens if my vehicle was towed on campus?
First contact Public Safety at 978-232-2222 to see where your vehicle was towed to. Sometimes vehicles are just relocated to another spot on campus, but they could also be towed off campus by New Beverly Auto Clinic.

How can I pay my citation?
Payments can be made by logging into the parking portal or scanning the QR code on the physical citation. All of the fees and such are explained on the back of the ticket.

How do I appeal a citation?
Appeals are also done on the parking portal. Please note that a lack of knowledge of a policy does not constitute a valid appeal. You are expected to review the policies as stated when you registered for your permit. If you have a question about something, please contact our office. When your citation is in process of being appealed it will enter a 鈥渇rozen鈥 status and will not count towards days unpaid until a decision is made.

I鈥檓 a First Year Student, how can I have my vehicle on campus?
You must qualify for a medical waiver, which will be reviewed by the Center for Accessibility Services.

Who can park in Lot 12?
Lot 12 is generally considered our overflow lot, but anyone with a campus parking permit is allowed to park there. We highly recommend those who are coming to campus in the late morning or early afternoon to look there first. It typically never gets full unless there is an event on campus.

Who can park in the parking garage?
The bottom/perimeter (level 1) is reserved for Lavender permit holders and Facilities Management Vehicles. Levels 2-4 are reserved for blue permit holders only. Levels 5-6 are for any student permit holders, except white decals.

Are there electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on campus?
Yes! There are 6 charging stations on campus, 4 inside the parking garage and 2 just outside of it on the first level, just opposite Facilities Management.

What do I need to do if I need to bring another vehicle to campus temporarily?
Stop in to our office during business hours and we can issue you a temporary parking pass for no additional charge.

Can I get more than one parking permit?
Staff are able to get 2 permits and students are limited to 1.
